Joshua dear,

You are gone without saying goodbye to us. You leave too sudden. I still remember seeing you and talking to you last week and now, all I have with me are the memories, the good memories that we shared. Everyday when I wake up, I would start counting the days without you by my side. Today would be the 6^th day without you. Going to school, stepping into the faculty, I no longer see the red horse anymore, I no longer see you walking on the other end smiling at me and you walking towards me. Walking down the hallway where I used to meet u and stopped just to talk to you makes my heart break into pieces knowing that what I see now is only the memories. I think about you every seconds, I think about the words you told me every seconds, I think about your smiles every seconds, I think about you calling my name every seconds. However, my pain for your loss can never be compared with the pain your amma, appa, bambi, aunt lilly and other family members feel. They raised you up, they grew up with you and they know you better than anyone of us here.

People kept on looking at me asking each other why does pinyin look so sad because of joshua’s death? Because they do not know how close we were and how much you meant to me. I know you want me to be happy and I know you want me to be able to take good care of myself. I still remember the words you told me very clearly in my mind. I will and I need you to give me the strength to pull through. I do not want to disappoint you and I know that you have always cared a lot for me. Now, all I can do is to cherish those good memories we had together, to think of the words that comes from your heart to me. I will always remember that you said God sent me to you for a reason and that I will always have a special place in your heart. Those words will be in my heart forever.

The 1^st question that you asked me everytime when you called me was “where you?”. Now, I will be the one who will be asking you this and I know you would be answering me with a smile saying “I am here in heaven safely in God’s arms”. I know I should not be selfish over your death as you no longer feel the pain that you used to feel during your time here. I know I should let you go. I cried so much every single day not because I do not want you to be in the place u are now, It is because I miss you very very much. I know I will be meeting you soon where you will be welcoming me with your arms open wide when I have accomplished what I have to do in this place. I will always cherish those memories in my heart and I will always love you very very much.

Birth, Life, meetings, separation, death. This is the nature of life. When a baby is born in a family, everyone was overjoyed because there is a new life entering their lives. Later on, the babies will eventually grow up and they start to meet each other. Many found loves during their journeys and YES, another new chapter of life has begun. They are ofcourse happy and filled with hopes. Then, there goes the "separation" part which lead to heartbroken, disappointment, misery and the list goes on and on. This is where the man's mind influences his body profoundly. If allowed to function viciously and entertain wholesome thoughts, it can cause disasters. They who suffered will usually let their negative thoughts to control them. All these unfortunate events happen due to a lack of understanding of the real nature of life. In life, departure or separation is unavoidable. This happen all the time and certainly unavoidable. When such things happen, one must try to find out where the cause lies. However, if the separation is beyond one's control, one must have courage to bear with it by realising the true nature of life. On the other hand, it is not difficult for anyone to find a new friends to fill the vacuum if one really wants to.

People always think that the "time will heal" phrase is too cliche', but it is always true. Trouble passes, What has caused you to burst into tears today will soon be forgotten. As we grow up and go through life, if we remember this we will often be surprised to find how we lie awake at night brooding over things that have happened to upset us during the day. And being surprised, we can realise what a waste of time and energy it has all been and how we have deliberately gone on being unhappy when we could have stopped it.

Realisation is something positively strong and opposed to ignorance. Once one has realised that separation is just a nature of life and after one has realised that letting go is better than clinging on, next thing should be done is "stop wasting your time". Bear this in our mind that by wasting your time you injure not only urself but to others too for your time is as much others as it is yours. I just feel that to be happy or to move on with life, it is all about choice. We do have a choice to be happy....as simple as that...

When you have too much things on your mind at once, i guess its hard to take it. Part of it has to do with responsibilities, the other has to do with exams and not forgetting the one you misses the most. You know these feelings should be suppressed RIGHT NOW but your mind is playing a fool with you. Thanks to my friend for writing this today "The heaviest loads are the mental ones, forever resting in the back of our heads. We carry them back and forth constantly in our thoughts. Put them down for awhile. Go look at a green tree or blur sky. It will surprise you that you had that choice all along-to be free". Yes, he is right about this. And it is true that we have choice..

Ching Ming 2011

Ching Ming 2011, yes...yet another year has passed. Reminiscing those younger days when we kids aimlessly follow our parents to the cemetery to pay respect to our ancestors. I still remember how small we were at that time and not knowing what was really going on. Now ofcourse, everyone has grown up and most of us have stable jobs and just give us few years, there will be our juniors coming out! ("us" refers to my elder cousins and apparently not me *wink* as i am still a student ). Ching Ming to us is another family gathering apart from chinese new year. I got to be honest that each time when i am on my way back to Penang for chingming, i will be so thrill, knowing that it is time for me to meet all my beloved ones. The "must-do-thing" on every ching ming is to buy 4D! It is like our family norm that after praying, they will buy numbers(lottery) and sad to say that after for more than 20 years of "practicing" this norm none of the numbers that the adults bought had ever appear in the 1st price list! Not even Consolation. =='' Up to now, they still continue practicing this. I salute them for their courage and perseverance! At least they are happy, which matter the most. =)

This male cocker spaniel mixed dog was brought in to us (SPCA) on Sunday 27th March. He was last seen at the Bukit Jambul area as reported.

Could this be abandoned or genuinely lost by his owner. Please help him find his owner. His left front leg is lame.

That title refers to man's best friend. Definitely not human. It is none other than DOGS! I do not know why but i somehow got myself signed up as a volunteer for the "Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals @ SPCA" few weeks ago. Maybe because i have such a long break ahead of me or maybe the love for animals that i have or perhaps i kept on repeatedly telling myself that it is the time to give than to receive. Over these months, the issues over the newspaper were the heartless malaysians who tortured their pets by kicking them, punching them, dragging them more than 100m with the car and worst, a GIRL who actually kicked a cat till it became lifeless in front of a CCTV! Her reason to ask for forgiveness was that she was too stress out due to her parents' divorce! Understandable but UNFORGIVABLE! You do not treat those animals as if they were your soft toys. You cant just step on your your pets like u did on your soft toys..Their life are as valuable as a human being. They are the ones who are loyal to you. You do not have to worry that your dog will stab you at your back. And looks like Malaysia Government is not so fond of animals.

We only have Section 44 of the Animal Act 1953 (2006 Amendment) which says that anyone guilty of an offence of cruelty to animals shall be liable to a fine of RM200 or imprisonment for a term of six months or both. RM200 in this 20 century?? You got to be kidding! People now a day can just grab any of the Louis Vuitton bags worth more than thousands and walk out from the store with their heads held high. Do you think this sanction even make sense? So, your pet is only worth RM200 for all those kicks and punches he received? Poor thing! First thing that should be done is that:

1. The punishment should be heavier! not justRM200 or 6months imprisonment.
2. The Enforcement of this act
3. To spread the awareness that the nation can do things more than just to complain tru nets, (this is what the SPCA is doing now, they educate the animal loves that they should accumulate the evidence of the person who torture his or her pet and send those evidence to them for further actions.)

4. Change the "tidak apa" mindset towards the animals
all the countries above have "more-make-sense" punishments for this offence than malaysia. Malaysia, watch and learn pls!

This New Year ResolutionS. You asked people what are their new year resolutions, they have tons. Some even said that "my new year resolution is not to have any resolution" and also "to cut my fingernails more often" New year resolutions are there to keep us motivate and to make sure we achieve our goals. Honestly, i have even forgotten what were my resolutions back in 2010...i guess i should look back the things i wrote and to check whether i have achieved them. =) well for this year;

Gay. I never really have issues regarding on gays. I would not care much whether my friends are gay or not, the most important thing is that they are good friends. This is what matters to me. When Brian Brown was leading the fight against gay marriage, i was and am on the fence. He has his own point of view as a staunch Christian. Barack Obama who is the 44th President of America repealed the "dont ask, dont tell" policy in the military. The US military had kicked out armies due to their sexualities and Obama stated that there should not be discrimination against them. Being an army of his country means more than their sexuality, the most important thing is that they are loyal to their country. In his opinion, Obama thinks that it is ok for gay couples to adopt kids and raise them, as long as the kids are raise in a loving environment. OK...this is a problem to me. Although i do not disagree on gay marriage, having to think of both gay partners adopting kids, this is not quite normal to me. We call our father as dad and our mother as mom. If both my parents have the same gender, so who shall i call as my dad or mom? or both as dads or both as moms? Imagine when the kid grow elder, how is he or she gonna introduce them to their friends.."Hey guys..this is my mom and my dad...just ignore how my mom looks..she is still my mom." This will be an issue for me. So perhaps having a gay partner is fine but if they have kids...that would be abnormal growing stages for them...

Chikungunya

Chikungunya. What the hell is that? According to Wikipedia, it is a virus (CHIKV) which is an insect-borne virus. It is transmitted to human by virus-carrying Aedes mosquitoes.CHIKV manifests itself with an acute febrile phase of illness lasting 2 to 5 days, followed by a prolonged arthralgic disease that affects the joints. The pain of the joints will persists for weeks or months or even years. As for the treatment, since it is a new disease, no specific treatments are given as well as for the vaccine. So i guess you have a rough idea what is chikungunya. I was the one of the unlucky ones who got bitten by the aedes mosquito and now i have joints pain. Honestly, the pain is unbearable. There were times when i felt so painful until going to the toilet was a big problem for me. It could be much better if the cubicle has the siting down toilet bowl, that can make a difference. At the beginning after i was diagnosed with this Chikungunya disease, the pain was the worst! I could not really move my legs even for 1cm, that was excruciating! I could not even walk out from my room to attend classes and out for food. I had no choice but to take some anti- inflammation medicine to stop the pain.

This disease had changed my life style, from an outdoor person to an indoor person. I can no longer run like i used to run, i can no longer skip the robe like i used to do, i can no longer play netball which is my all time favourite sport. I was obviously devastated. I had to forgo a lot of things, entertainment, holidays, meeting up with friends. shopping etc. My heart was smashed when there are some people who said things which actually hurt my feelings. I do not mind if they didnt understand how much pain i have been through, but they should watch their words at times. I do not ever want to have this joint pain problems at all, and i have to deal with it all by myself. This is already very hard for me and now i have to hear all those comments. Do you know how thankful i was to meet an auntie at a temple whom un

derstands the pain i felt? I felt at last there is somebody who understand this pain! She got chikungunya last year and she said "only those who had suffered this will understand how much pain we have to bear." and i could not have agreed more. She told me that it took her 7months to cure the joints pain. My mouth was hanging wide open. Seriously???!!!! This is my 2nd month of suffering only! that means i still have long way to go!! %$**$!!!...ok...FML. I will deal with it...got to....

yea...i know cursing is bad...but fark u mosquito!!u made my life miserable...

1. I wish i could born with natural talent in make up-ing. I had to struggle a lot to do make up for myself. I hate to put chemicals on my face but at times we really need to have good and fresh appearance.

2. I used to be (and sometimes) a pessimistic person. When things cannot work out (my heart will scream and said "die lar die lar") but there was once my brother advised me that i should not react this way and must try to be optimistic, i started to change. My brain knows how to slow things down.

3. I will never let anyone condemn my family members.

4. I hate to eat alone whether i am in the house or i am out. I always love to have company when i am eating

Congratulations to my dear Say Kun and her husband, Dayron for their marriage. =) I am happy for her as she has finally found her true love and partner for life. I still remember few years back, Janet and I kept on asking her "when are you getting married ar?? we cant wait already!!wanna get angpow from u!" and now...finally, her wedding has finallllyy keeps our mouth shut from asking the same old question over again. Walking back to year 2007 where i first met her and Janet when i worked in Zaid Ibrahim after my SPM. Never did i ever thought that our friendship will last that long (do not get me wrong, as i worked there for only 5months.usually this short friendship will only be touch and go). The main reason our friendship still exist until today is because all of us have the most sincere heart to carry on this friendship as well as we had made efforts to meet each other together with Janet each time we are free. Janet and Say Kun both are like my elder sis and they refer me as their "adik". I wish SayKun and her husband to have eternal long lasting marriage... and i cant wait to see junior saykun!! =)

Reviving my blog after for so long. I am enjoying my holidays and love to be at home =) Satisfaction. Now i am thinking of TATTOO!! *evil smile* I really want to get at least one tattoo in this lifetime. I would like to have it on my fingers, in between my thumb and forefinger. Just a small one. I always think that tattoo is a type body art, they will look great if people just dont over do it. Some people might have the opposite thinking, they think it is totally not appropriate to have tattoo as they do not give us good impression. I am imagining what would my mom's reaction if i really did get one tattoo...she will totally freaks out and i am doom! haha. So, i shall wait till i get older a bit to finally do it.. =) i wonder when will be the suitable time...

Its time to say NO

Its not that i do not want to do it, its just that my body sent me a msg saying that "enough is enough". I know who i am really is, i know that i am not an irresponsible person, i was born to do things right and i know what are my responsibilities. I do not need anyone to remind me of what i am suppose to do. Sounds like i am bragging? Whether it is or it isnt, i know myself best.

I had this programme last week which we have been planning for quite sometime ago. I had my own duty on that day and it was so unfortunate that i was not in good health. The truth was,few hours before the event i felt like giving up and ask one of my friends to substitute me (means taking over my job). Massive headache, nausea, stomach ache, dizziness, body ache (you name it i got it). However, i got hold on myself and i practically swallowed a panadol just make the pains go away temporary. Thank God...i managed to finished my job on that day together with my team mates. Thanks to their commitment. By the time i headed off to bed, i was extremely exhausted and was really sick. The next day i called Jeremy to send me to the clinic asap as i could not wait any longer. Thanks to him and other friends.

Today is the exact 1 week after the event and i have to admit that i still have light headaches as well as some body aches. So for these few days, i sleep early and i could not afford to sleep late. My body really needs a good rest and i cant afford to get sick again as my finals are coming. I am sorry that if i could not attend certain meetings at night, and i really hope people would understand my situation. Unable to attend one particular meeting does not mean that i am irresponsible. Once i am chosen to be part of a committee, i will carry out my duties well.

"Kopitiam" @Coffee Shop. One simple word, has simple meaning which i myself defined in Pinyin's very own dictionary as "a place where people from all ages have their meals and chit chat there."

Q: Where do the Kopitiams usually situated?

A: They are mostly situated everywhere in Malaysia and Singapore, you can have a lot of kopitiams in Penang, Malacca, KL etc.

Q:What kind of food they usually sell?

A: All kinds of hawkers food ranging from char keow teow to Pasembur

Q: How is the atmosphere in a Kopitiam?

A: its normally noisy and busy

SO! Now i am sure you guys have a clear picture of what is a Kopitiam...Basically in this post, my main purpose is not just to let you guys know what is a kopitiam, this is what happened in a kopitiam we went into today.

As usual, we were having our meal with friends and while we were enjoying our meals, we talked. This is like a package u know, when we were enjoying our food we talked too (we will talk when we have finished munching our food in our mouth..haha). And when we got a lil too excited, we will turn the voice volume a lil louder adding laughters in that. Then an uncle came to our direction,speaking in Chinese "Can u guys speak softer?"

First thing that came to my mind...."WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF A KOPITIAM?"(so pls refer to the above) Do they even expect us to shut up though out the eating "journey"? are we in some kind of formal and expensive places? We are not in the library! nor are we in the hospitals! why should we even care to shut up when others were still talking in the kopitiam? he expected us to shut up when he was yelling away for the chicken rice order? he expects a kopitiam to be filled with quiet people???

D.A.D.D.Y

Some of us hate our dads, some of us love our dads, some who really hope that they could have dads and some wish that they would never ever had dads. Its a pretty sad thing and i do not blame them for having these feelings. Once we had lost the most valuable thing in life, that was the time when we would really love to have it back. When they still have their dads around with them, that do not mean that they are happy. Their dads might be an alcoholic, abuser,prisoner or even a millionaire who does not have the time for them. Whenever i heard complains from my friends bout their dads, i would just listen to their complains but deep down inside,i wished that i can be in their shoes and to be the one who complain bout their dads. My friends will just come up to me and said "do u know how angry i am at my dad!! he is so childish!!" " or "how can my dad turns out to be like this?". I wanted to reply by saying "yea yea..mine too!!" but.... i had nothing much to say. I will just keep quiet. However, like i have said previously, having a dad sometimes is not a happy thing if their dads turned out to be a pain in the ass. I have heard lots of stories bout dads did stuff so bad until they could not forgive their dads. So many stories, so many experiences...only come to one conclusion, which is... "every family will have their own problems" the difference thing is that, how do they encounter their problems. So with or without a dad, we have to be strong.

Step Up 3

"People dance because dance can change things. One move, can bring people together. One move can make you believe like there's something more. One move can set the a whole generation free." STEP UP 3 is in the house yo..

The plot of the story is just the very ordinary romance story and student juggling between studies and dancing (just like the ones in step up 1 and 2). I bet all of you can just predict the next moves after you have just watched it for half and hour. Very predictable thats all i can say. However, i shall give credits to their filming. Although i am not a person who is good at this, i like the way the camera focus on the characters when they dance, those angles are superb. Those dances are spectacular!! They are beyond amazing! The final battle where those dance crews wear the L.E.D suites and the colour kept changing when they change their moves...that is creative!! So get us ass to the cinema now! Although it has a very simple storyline, it is worth to watch.

I rate 7/10.

yup...this will be our family trip after the one we had in Hainan Island last year,

I know everyone is making their efforts to meet each other in this island

as we are no longer schooling kids like we used to be last 10 years

now everyone is all grown up and has their own job

most of us (exclude me, jeremy, kwanlin,hann chern n the younger generations) find it kinda difficult to get their bosses' approvals for their leaves on that day...

People tend to tell us, ''just move on...thats all you can do...time will heal''. Words are easily uttered, but it is totally a different thing when we practice it. Time will heal, but the wound which have healed will leave a scar there and sometimes, it is permanent. I too want to move on. Its just that when a person who gave a huge impact in your life suddenly left you behind, there are a lot of things to catch up. No matter how fast you try to chase to catch things up, no matter how much strength you put to make it through the rain and storm, there are always holes in between. Since its fasting month, dates will be sold in a lot of places. This is the time when i can enjoy eating dates! yum yum! A lof of my friends hate them maybe because of the ugly texture..but bare in mind ''looks are always deceiving!''. It seriously taste like heaven! Not only for taste purposes, dates are good for digestive system- to those who have hard time shitting, perhaps you can try to eat dates. Its also a good remedy for weak heart as well as alcoholic intoxication. Since there are such wide benefits, just stuff it in ur mouth and taste it...if u liked it.. ''welcome to the group!'', but if u still didnt like it..''just pinch ur nose and swallow it..cause its good for ur intestines!''.

LOVE IT TO THE MAX! =)

I wanted to buy one tube of henna which cost only RM2 so that i can draw designs on my own hand whenever i want...

somehow, there is a voice in my head telling me ''pinyin...put that back..you do not have this creativity to draw, so dont buy it!''

I then changed my mind and asked the lady to draw for me instead which cost me RM5! i know its not cheap, but its worth it as i was happy to look and admire my hand for 4 full days..

Some ppl mistaken henna as the tattoo. Both are totally different. Perhaps i will get one permanent tattoo in the future.. (*toothy smile*)

15th Malaysia Law Conference was organised by the Malaysia Bar Council held at KLCC from 29th till 31st of July 2010. This conference had eventually turned me into a smarter person by now. *wink*. Through out the 3days conference my brain had consumed quite a lot of knowledges ranging from mediation talks to child custody talks. With all those beneficial talks given by the prominent speakers, i was and am truly fully motivated. I was very impressed to see the lawyers with their eloquent talks. Same goes to the judges who hailed from our very own land as well as from other countries. Speaking about judges, Judge Micheal Kirby, a high court judge in Australia attended this conference and gave a talk on ''The Rule Of Law" and was in the panel together with Datuk Zaid Ibrahim as well as YB Dato' Sri Ong Tee Keat to discuss on "Human Rights" in Malaysia. I love the way he spoke, very firm and attention catching. During the hard talk on Human Right, Mr R Nadeswaran whom he is the Editor in Special and Investigative Reporting of the Sun newspaper stated that ''All politicians are natural liars" and this had made the audience applauded, agreeing on that statements. Other than that, they had talks on ''What lawyers and Accountant should watch out for?"," Schemes of arrangement: How to succeed and how to challenge them", "What are the Key elements in a traficking in-Person case, etc. Listening to the speakers talking was just one part of this conference, the rest was i actually got to widen my net working. This is important for ppl like us. I was delighted that i met up with friends who i didnt even have a single thought that i would have met them at there...the world is just so small.... Last but not least...RM100 for this conference is super worth it! =)

I know i should be sleeping right now..i mean IMMEDIATELY. However, i think i should spend some time to just pen down bout my life recently and also to do some reflections on it. I shall update bout my life here in ukm, yes...as usual, its predictable that i have a busy life. Most of my time in weekdays are occupied with classes, tutorials, discussions, readings, meeting, not forgetting jogging. As i am quite active and got myself involve in Asia Law Student Association (ALSA) and Kajai Chinese Club, whenever i have free time in between, i will always remind myself to get the important things done quick. Being busy in the weekdays make me forget the unhappy moments that i have gone through. So talking bout this, i shall reflect things here.... firstly, from now on whatever things i want to do or attend, i will just go ahead and do it and i shall not have''if he is going, then i will go'' in my dictionary. secondly, i shall say NO to anything that i refused to do or go. Thirdly, i shall grab every opportunities in front of me and to use them wisely. Lastly, i should stop being so nice to ppl because ''miss nice will be misused by ppl''. Just remember this, everything in life is just TOUCH and GO. Nothing is permanent, so just dont HOPE so much...or u will be crashed.

the phrase ''we just click when i meet him/her'' is just not in my dictionary..

yes...i wanted to believe it with my heart but my brain tells me the opposite..

when we know a friend not long, they tend to take things for granted,

they tend not to appreciate you, they choose to be ignorant, some of them didnt really care to care for you, maybe to them we are just a touch n go card..i am talking in general as i have my good friends telling me how their friends treated them and i felt for them.

this might happen to one of us, perhaps we should pause and start to cherish all the friends that we have...always think of them whenever we want to make the decisions, take them into account...dont leave them out...

I Will Miss you

this was the time i met her....

her name is Yenfen, the girl with green shirt standing in the middle of this picture.

I am glad to know her for a year through a camp

We were in the same university, she was my senior

It was around this time last year when i enrolled myself into UKM,

she was the 1st who came into my hostel room to greet me and took me around,

After my 1st week of orientation, i was sick and i called her for help,

without hesitation, she drove me to the doctor and offered me to stay with her a night in her room, she cooked for me, bought things for me, took care of me until i recovered

Although the time i spent with her was not a lot, the memories with her will always be remembered, she was diagnosed with cancer end of last year.she was a very tough girl

i called her from time to time to ask her how was she

she replied saying ''i will fight this, i know i can, dont worry,''

i just talked to her last month in msn,

and as all of us know that with this ''monster'' living within her, her life will be uncertain

i gotten a news that her condition was critical and she only live on with the help of the machine,

today all the devices will be taken out from her body and she will leave us here.....

i know nothing is permanent, but memories live on....

Too many restrictions will cause more fear. Restrictions- i am talking bout restrictions in the sense of teachers-students. Sometimes when these things happen, it will prevent the students to be creative in their own way. I remember when i was small, we had music class in school and the teacher who taught us music follow exactly the context in textbook. So basically we were forced to sing the songs in the textbook...the boring songs with dull melody which will make the babies cry if it was sung as their lullabies. Even for the instruments, we were only allowed to use ''recorder'' ( a lower standard of flute). We wanted to sing other songs other than that whole lot, but we were just timid students back then, all these education system really made us fear of taking chances and to make changes. We are unable to expend our knowledges and experiences which do not involve in exam or in syllabus.

Our education system is too exam based had actually restricted the students to become all rounder and also a street smart person. Usually children at their growing period will expose their own capabilities and they will deliver it by different ways,most are by drawing. Flash back to my schooling times, i remember clearly during my art class in Secondary 1, one of my friend drew ''stick people'' as human and my teacher critised her art. By this action, do you think we students can actually learn not to be afraid to be different compare to the ''strict guidelines''? Ever wonder why in Malaysia the nation do not give their green lights for Art and Music Schools like the ones they have in America and other countries? BECAUSE of our education system. Parents tend to believe that getting straight A's and excell in EXAMS is the upmost priority. They do not believe that some children are capable in Arts. Parents in the modern days kept on comparing their children's results with each other and thus scolding their children for not getting excellent results. Malaysians often forget that there are still alot more than just getting outstanding results in exam. When i read in the newspaper saying that UPSR and PMR might be taken out, here i was, saying ''thank god, they should have done that years ago!''. I just hope there will be much better education systems in the future in malaysia. Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, you got to prove them right that you deserve this post better than others.

I guess its kinda too fast for a 17 year old girl to dress like someone who is double her age. The world is shocked to see these rapid changes in her ranging from her song lyrics (i cant be tamed) to her dressing and speaking. Why do some people just cant wait to grow up? What is so enjoyable being an adult where you must bear more responsibilities and have to face the cruel reality? Plus if adults who had convicted upon some crimes, they will be sentence to jail, fine, gas chamber etc..if u are a minor, do not have to worry about staying behind the bars. Other than alcohol, getting into the clubs and casinos, there are nothing really special compare to being younger. So Miley is trying to tell the world that ''hell!! i just cant wait to grow OLD and wear under garments for my concerts just like LADY GAGA''. Dont you think she dresses like Lady Gaga? Pray hard that she will not be as troublesome as Lindsay Lohan who was a star in her teenage and a slut in her adult life.

Why do i ever want to lie that i am an extraordinary person while i know that i am just an ordinary person. I am proud to say that i hailed from an average family from a small island called Penang. I was not born with a silver spoon. I achieved things and dreams with strong persistent just like other ordinary people. I have an ordinary family members and friends who care for me. Honestly, i am contented of what i have now because i am happy being an ordinary girl. Coming from humble origins is the pride for us. =)

World Cup 2010

I was never into Football since young and whenever the guys jumped up and down cheering for their own football team, i will just look at them nonchalantly. Every English Premier League means nothing to me. Things are different now when we have World Cup coming to the town. =) I told my friends and my brothers that i will catch up with the matches for the one whole month since it comes once in 4years. Surprisingly i did enjoyed watching the matches...quite excited when they scored haha. Anyway, my favourite team will be Argentina!! Hope to see more challenging games. Yup..you got me clear...PMS = Premenstrual Syndrome. I hate to admit this, but i think i will particularly become more sensitive and easily irritated because of PMS. haha...This is when the hormones take control of my and the girls' emotions. It always rule us just one week or days before we have our period. The things that i have observed myself were- usually few days b4 that, i will be grumpy and when things did not go my way i would be very frustrated. Later on after these emotions taken over me, then came to the realization that what i did was wrong. My emotions seem to be not so stable and it is not a good time to think rationally because most of my actions will be done according to my emotions. Plus, i would love to be alone at that moment. The positive side of this is that, i think i can express myself better in that midst of time. So next time, if you girlfriends or sisters or girl-friends got mad of a sudden, we girls have an acceptable reason for that... haha..i wonder guys have pms too? chaoz..

Life is definitely UNFAIR

Life is definitely unfair. Nothing in this world is fair to us, you, me. This is very frustrating. Long life learning- do not ever get attach to people around you too much. Some people are just not worth for you to put your sincere heart in a friendship. Do you have a friend who you really like her/him, but they tend to hurt your feelings (by intentionally or unintentionally)? Yes i do have that kind of friend. There are times when they hurt you so bad, till you swear that you will never ever be too good to them again...however, somehow i always forgot what i have sweared b4 that and i will keep on making the same old mistakes again because forgiving is in me. It is because i really believe if i treat a friend sincerely, they will too. Many times incidents have proven my hypothesis as unacceptable and inaccurate, i guess my stubborn nature refuse to make the corrections. Do not get me wrong, i still have really helpful, loyal, long lasting friends. They really appreciate me for who i am and i am truly grateful for having them. But there are still some ''dark horses'' u know...that brings the downs in your life.

Approximately 3years ago, when i was having the most difficult time of my life, when my dad was admitted into hospital because his condition worsen. At that time, i was having a stayed over in my friend's house, ofcourse i felt very guilty for going there while my dad suffered so much. My friends knew that i was deeply sad and knew that they could not do anything to make my dad feel better. They went back to my house and spent their whole day with me trying their best to cheer me up. That was the time, i felt i am the most luckiest gal on Earth because of them. Just make it short, i do not hope for all those luxurious stuff by friends, i just need them to show me their pure hearts and really hold on tight in our friendships.

(PS: i know i tengah emo-ing....but somehow, i write better when i am emo.... *wink*)

Wesak Day

What is the significance of Wesak Day? Wesak day is the day when Gautama Buddha attained Enlightenment. That means he is free of rebirth, suffering and achieved true happiness. Buddha finally saw his previous lives up to thousand years before. Enlightenment can be attained through meditation. It is a very difficult thing to do and it takes years of practice. Whenever people were born into this world, they will have to go through rebirth, decay, old age, sickness, death. This cycle will continue hundred years, thousand of years...i do not know till when. People always ask us this question -''What is your purpose of life?'' Typical answers will be, ''i want to be successful in life, i want to earn a lot of money, I want to be the big boss, i want, i want and i want''.

However, from the Buddhist point of view, the purpose of life would be to put an end of suffering and the unsatisfactoriness. When i came to think bout it, people always fight for money, fight for power, fight for positions- are there any true purposes lying there? Sometimes i would just ponder to myself asking this question to myself -since i will be in this world for only temporary and i am not immortal, why do i have to long for all of the things i want in my life? Once i am dead, all those hard work and beads of sweat will be useless. At the same time, i am living in a materialistic world, without money and job i will not survive. I do not think i will be able to get the correct answer. I know there are still people who wonder why some ordinary people chose to be monks who willing to give up everything they have in life including their love ones. Because they do not want to get attach to them, one day they will leave this world. Everyone of us is attached to most of the things and people. This is why when people who are about to die, they could not let go. If only we can just let go of everything and understand the circle of life, then it will be easier to ''go''. Saying is just as easy as ABC, but to really understand it and to practice it, that will be the hardest thing to do. Sometimes i just hope that i could just understand these whole circle of life things.

Yearning for Zion- heard that before? I just came across this yesterday during Oprah Winfrey show last night. Yearning for Zion is a community that has around 700 people , situated outside of Texas, United States of America. According to wikipedia, it is owned by the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

The residents there practice polygamy marriage and i was surprised, i guess the people out of that ''world'' were surprised to know that 3 wives sharing a husband get along very well. Unbelievable. Oprah interviewed some of the housewives by asking them whether they will argue when all of them in the kitchen cooking because at times they will have different views on things. They said whenever we know that we are not good in that particular things, we will try to change, make it better. The wives told Oprah that they never once entered in an argument. Indeed amusing to me. The ladies will usually get married in the age of 16, some 18 years old. Some girls chose to marry in the age of 15 too! When asked them whether they love their husband before marrying them, one of them just answered ''i know i will''. Marriage is arranged by the girls' parents and they girls usually trust their parents' choices. Whenever they encounter problems, they will just pray. Other than that, the girls must wear clothes which cover their whole bodies because according to them their bodies are very pure and need to be protected. Take a look at the pictures.

YES, I LOVE THE ENVIRONMENT..I am deeply sadden by the news bout oil spilling out of a well below the Transocean Deepwater Horizon oil rig. Untill now, it is still unclear whether or not the leakage will be stopped. This will definitely destroy the ocean. Those fishes, marine life will be gone for sure. People's life will be disturbed as well..Why must we human have to be a destroyer of what God has given to us?

Nuclear Plant, is it a smart choice?

The Federal Government had given green light to built nuclear plant in malaysia. This will take approximately 10 years to finish building it. So, is the approval by Government a smart choice? To me, i do not think it is and will not give my full support in that plan.

Firstly, to built a nuclear plant it requires a huge amount of money, where will the government get those money? Secondly, everyone knows that nuclear is very dangerous to human because if the waste is not handled in a proper way, those radioactive elements will cause alot of damages not only to us but to all living things. Thirdly, i think we should use other alternative sources other than nuclear power, we can actually use solar. Fourthly, no offence but i do not think malaysia's technology is not up to the standard and eventually we will need to spend even more money to upgrade our technology b4 we even can start building it. Fifthly, i personally think that the government should use the money to upgrade the standard of living of the whole nation and also to save the money for the future use as i can predict that we might face problems regarding to natural disasters. Sixthly, do you know that the CEO of TNB National stated that they are ready to operate the nuclear plant despite having no waste management plan.

Other than these, i cannot imagine what will happen to our country when the enemy army from above the sky, dropping atomic bombs on our nuclear plant. Byebye Malaysia?? Sigh....When i first laid my eyes on the news regarding this, 1st thing that came to my mind was, how could the Federal Government ever approve this proposal? Have they ever taken into consideration bout the consequences of having nuclear plant? If it ended badly, the nation will be the ones who suffer, the future generation. yea.. i know, by building this nuclear plant, it will make our Malaysia stand proud among other countries..BUT i just think that as Malaysians, every single Malaysian should have the right to voice out whether or not to agree with this plan because this nuclear plant itself has to do with each and everyone of our life.

Bought this book at Kinokuniya last 2 weeks just few days before contract law, i was so tempted to read but somehow got hold on myself and i started reading it on the way back from UKM to penang. Love this story. "The five ppl you meet in heaven". Even b4 i started reading it, the title itself gave me an impression that it will be a fantastic one. It is a habit for all of us the think that death is the end of someone's story,however for this book it took the path different from the normal one. It took the path of lesser ppl would travel on - death is no longer ending, all endings are also beginnings. The story is about an old uncle was about to die and when he is dead, he went to heaven to meet those 5 ppl that will tell him their stories. In their stories, they explained to him, why certain incidents happen and ppl die for the other to live..............check this story out. Lessons to learn. =)

I am in my room for the last few hours. Lets enjoy the moment. Gosh...i have been in this room for 2 semesters and now it has come to the end of my 1st year. The next semester, i will be in the 2nd year. Why so fast?!! =/

One question that i have in mind right now is that- ''What is beauty and what is beautiful to you?'' I have been alive for 21 years already and since as a teenager and till now, ppl always making a big fuss bout a pair of love birds which they usually questioned why the guy super good looking with a not so pretty girl friend, vice versa. Honestly, i had heard enough of these. Whenever i hear that, i choose not to speak but to listen. and i speak it right here. It is ppl's own choice who they want to choose to be with regardless what their ages are, how they personalities shine, how they dont give a damn shit bout the looks etc. Who are you to say that? It is not written in the law that a handsome guy MUST be with a gorgeous looking girl. Beauty can be defined in such a wide way or maybe you can agree on what Justice Lim Beng Choon said ''unrulling horse,when you ride on it, you will never know where it leads you to"Some ppl prefer to have a partner who has the most beautiful heart or some might love the beautiful external looks. Think bout it, how can a beauty and a geek or a beauty and the "beast" be together? They are fated to be together! Their paths are crossed and this is how they fell in love with each other. The most unbearable things that i have ever came across was this question ''there are no more girls better than her izzit? why must choose her?'' All i want to say here is that, yea.. i agree that most beautiful things are nice to see and watch, but they too are not immortal. Sometimes, ppl make me think that the phase ''a good looking guys must have a pretty gals'' is too over rated. Just think first before you spit out those words where can hurt ppl. How will you feel when ppl comment bad stuff bout ur relationship all because of those LOOKS?

What is the simplest rule when you step into the library? Ask this question to a kindergarten kid....SILENT. yea...simple as that. Somehow, there are still inconsiderate ppl who i consider them as selfish. There was once when i was studying in the library with my friends and there was a girl sat behind us started talking tru her hp. Fine...maybe she has some emergency call. She somehow kept on talking on the phone as if she owned that whole library. I was studying for my constitutional law and was kinda lack of time for my revision and there was this unnecessary interruption going on. This was part of her conversation:

Fly Back Alone

Ever since Air Asia was born to the ''flying'' world, everybody can fly! Now taking plane is no longer something great nor for those rich ppl, it is for all of us regardless of status. I have traveled by Air Asia few times but this time, i sit on that plane alone. I have booked the flight ticket back to penang and also back to ukm for ''Ching Ming'' (a day where the buddhists pray respect to their ancestors and to their deceased).Taking the plane all alone and by myself was something new for me. It was a great experience for me as i can become a street smart person...errr.. i mean in the formation of becoming a street smart person. I thought i would be nervous bout it but instead of that, i was actually enjoying myself, travelling alone, walking up and down at LCCT, bought the stuff that i like etc... yea... i know to those who have traveled million times in plane all by themselves, they might be thinking that this post is totally nothing to them, but i just want to say that, everyone has their 1st time, and this is my first time experience..so i thought it would be nice if i blog bout it...so in the future when i read back the older posts at least they will make my day and make me smile =)

nasi ayam lagi....no choice for me cuz all restaurants were full of ppl and this food was the fastest i could get...

Muzik Moden Semester II

Modern Music...sounds very modern to me at the first glimpse. Not to left out the eagerness to experience the feeling playing in a band too. That was why i joined this as my co-curriculum. Coming to the end of the semester, we are require to perform a song which we had learned during the classes. Last semester was not very much to be remembered as i was the "lame back up singer". This semester it was something different. I got to play my acoustic guitar and to put in a nicer way, i got to perform in a band. =) The outcome was actually not bad but during the rehearsal and last min practises, that was the hardest part. One day before our performance, we had a rehearsal together with other performers ( Classical Music, Choir, Dancing, Nasyid etc). On that very time, we found out that our drummer will not be there for the rehearsal and also on the real day!! He didnt even inform our sir bout this. How are we suppose to find a drummer to replace him?? All of us panicked. One of our friends managed to get a substitute drummer which he had not even practised with us b4..this was a bad bad idea. Our turn came, and it was really sucky..The drummer got all the beat wrong which made the singer lost his tempo...chaotic. Then came our Sir, lecturing us after the performance...bla bla bla... To me the only problem was the drummer, if only we could find a drummer, then everything will be settled.

However, our sir called up his whole band (consists of the local artistes) and asked the lead guitarist and pianist not to play anymore, he asked them to be the back up singers. One word - SUCK! He even changed our song!! We got to learn that new song on the day of our performance. Damn! All these while we attended the classes just to practise that song and now he said that we wont be playing that song. It was obvious that all of us were pissed off but we could not said anything. I mean, this is our co-curriculum and this is our night to perform, now u ask your band to come and take over us? Is this the right thing to do? He even asked us not to tell others bout the band...i wanted to answer him ''Duh! who do not know they are not students? look at their hair! and their looks!" We however continue playing the new song for the last rehearsal and yea... the whole performance was superb BUT it was not performed by US. After that i went back to my room and i got a msg saying that we, modern music are not allowed to perform anymore because the committee in charged said that it was not played by us....(yea...as predicted by us...) My friends went to deal with the committee members without my sir...and we were lucky enough to be given another chance to perform...this time we were told to perform our own song with a drummer provided by them. COOL! During the time we performed, we were seriously very happppyy that we were able to play our own song! We got the feed back saying that our performance was good!!!! This made all of us beamed with satisfactions. Yea..we have made it!! The feeling of joyfulness were there. I know i complained a lot here... =) but seriously if you were to be in our shoes, you will know how we felt that day.

Fed Up

I am sure all of us will at least have a bad experience on doing assignments in group work. I am here writing this post as i am super pissed off and fed up. Piss off in what sense? Obviously about the group members who didnt even care to show their commitments and just lay their asses on else where rather than to contribute things to the group. I will not say that all of the group members are jack ass, i will re-phase here, only some of them who careless bout it. I am speaking on behalf of the unsatisfied and angry friends of mine who also face this similar situation. Just one question to ask here, "do you think it is fair??" the answer -> "The world is never fair". Sad to know that, BUT dont you think that they as young ADULTS , they should know their own responsibilities?? Do i have to remind them every single thing? Arent they mature enough to carry out their duties in group work? I know all of them are damn busy, but do bare in mind that i am busy too! I have to wake up in the middle of the night just to read the case so that i can tell the rest what to do although i am very very tired. I forced myself to carry out my responsibilities because i know that i MUST. I have already done my part. Things will not proceed if both parties refused to do their parts. I am saying this not because i am trying to brag here...it is the truth that should be spoken. Handling all those ppl with the too care free attitude is tough! seriously..The thing that i do not understand is that, why cant they remember by themselves the things they should do? I have to be their reminder! Even for meetings, i have to rush the whole faculty searching for them and ask them to attend the meeting!!!! How old are they already!!! Do they need ppl to remind them that they need to go to the court to present their cases in the future???

Hand Sanitizer....What else can we do with it, other than cleaning our hands and made them 99.9% free of bacteria? Since i take ''Kemahiran Berfikir'' class this semester and in one of the syllabus, it stated that we as human being need to be able to think creatively. And here i am with bottles of sanitizer, thinking of using it on other better purpose rather than the old boring usage..

weee!! hand sanitizer...its affordable and it comes in different aromas..haha

this is what i did...see the difference in the color of our shoes? one is yellowish..the other is white...focus on the white rubber area...

the steps are very simple...all you need to do is to apply some of the hand sanitizer on the filthy area of the shoe,then by using your bare hands...i repeat... by using your bare hands...start rubbing the liquid until it becomes dry....you will see dirts coming out from your shoes...and of course you will definitely see those effects! Try this!! Oh yea...remember to use the hand sanitizer to clean your hands after rubbing it on your dirty shoes.. Be creative!! haha...

Yesterday night was NOTHING like ''TGIF- Thank Goodness its Friday". Things werenot in correct order. Maybe i should say i was kinda dumb to think. My hostel had a dinner and the theme was ''Retro Musical". My typical thinking is , if a dinner held by my hostel which have the malays as the majority, a dinner dress code would be all cover up and no sexy dressing. Logic enough? ok...I wanted to wear a dress with heels but i was told that some of them were wearing casual, so without thinking much, i dressed casually. without knowing the fact that i was totally damn wrong! When i stepped into the hall, i was like ''damn shit! am i in the correct place?someone slap me!" Those people wore dresses!! Not just the normal dresses but the real hot and sexy dresses!! I felt so under dressed! I was so embarrassed and this really crashed my confident. I really thought of walking back to my room and change but no one in my table would follow me back. =/ am i too desperate or what? Desperate or not, i am a person who really think that it is crucial to dress well according to the events. Cursing under my breath for that, i still got to stuck my butt on the chair for around 3 hours and force myself to consume the not so tasty food before i went back t o my room. Nightmare!!

When i was only 13 years old, watching my own siblings and cousins turning 21, one by one...i always pictured myself being 21 years old with bday celebration with my family and friends. I was very impatient to be 21! and now, i am really turning 21. It was (but not to my family anymore) a tradition for all of us including my cousins to celebrate their 21st bday while the veteran to celebrate their 50th bday. After my dad have gone away, there no longer any bday celebration for us...and i totally understand that. All i want for now is just to be able to hear him wishing me ''Happy 21st birthday, Pinyin" to me. Just as simple as that. I miss those times when he pretended that he have forgotten my birthdays.He made this every 5th of March.So every 5th of March, i will think back of this. I do not want all those big and expensive presents, all i want now is the loves and cares from my beloved ones. What i have learnt for the past 2 and half years was simple enough for all of us to understand which is ''gratitude" , this will be carried with me until i am buried 6 feet underground.

When we bring out Annuar Ibrahim's name, first thing that comes to our mind for now is - ''Sodomy case" between him and Saiful". I followed this case through Malaysiakini and yes, i would say that i totally salute Annuar for being such a tough person. All those hardships that he had to endure,i am not just saying bout ppl "spitted" out harsh words bout him,but i am talking bout the obstacles he had to face in politics. Those ugly times when he was in the jail and suffered due to inhuman treatments.Who didnt know that he had been into jail for 6 years and had been able to climb back the stairs in politics? I am just saying my point of view bout him and trying my hardest not to mention sensitive issues here as i dunwan to get myself lock up under ISA. lol. I blog bout him in the virtue of Article 10 which is the freedom of speech. =) All and for all, he is a very super tough and optimistic person.

How will you react towards a person whom u dislike? Slap them?(how i wish i could.haha) Curse them? My reactions towards one particular bad ''chemical'' is not bout violence or bullying them verbally. All i would do is just ignore that person and minimize the conversations. I am not sure whether i am doing the correct thing or not. One thing for sure is that, that person who i dislike do not deserve to be treated good. After all the things the person have done, i personally think that he or she needs to wake up and think more maturely to overcome their own attitudes. I am not saying that i am having the greatest attitude ever on this earth, but some ppl's behaviors really unbearable and it is excruciating to just stand and look at the terrible things they did. The worst part is that, i cant do anything about it because it will be none of my business to do that. I cant even take care of my own stuff but now i am being nosy bout ppl's stuff..this isnt right at all. So, this will be the way i ''punish'' them. haha. I am sorry that i acted this way but i just cant be a faker, faking around when i know truly to myself that i dislike that person. yes yes.....i always hear ppl telling me that although u do not like this particular person, you should still act normally and talk to her normally. As i clutched her soft wrinkled hand and wished her goodbye, my heart hurt so badly. Because i know deep in my heart that this will be the last time i'm gonna see her. The next time i return, she will be gone. Sigh. She was my baby sitter and also my siblings' baby sitter.There was a bond between us and her. We will always visit her during cny and some other times of the year. Everytime when we visited her, she will always be very delight to see us and will happily gave out ang pow to us. She is a strong woman, physically and mentally. Until last year when i called her to talk to her she told me a bad news. She was diagnosed with throat cancer. When i got the news, i was stunned and i just could not continue to talk to her anymore as my tears trickled down. One year had passed after the news, and she looked so thin and lethargic and she barely even have the strength to talk to us. But that did not stop her from walking into her room to take angpows for us. When i see her doing that, i was about to break down and cry but however i controlled myself. This will be the last angpow from her and i will keep it safely and will forever keep it...I told her tat i am studying law in UKM and she was really happy for me. I will always remember this. She told us that she could not even eat anything even drinking milo is hard. We didnt want to take up her rest time so after 15 mins, we started to say goodbye. This will be the last goodbye i bid to her as i know she will be called back to ''home'' soon....

Here i go again....

Everytime when i'm gonna leave penang and make my move to UKM, i will surely blog it.. =)

I had a great cny this year but must put a side the hot weather....

The best time to gather and meet up with our class teacher is during CNY. WHY? Cause 1st reason, ada angpow, 2nd reason- get to makan, 3rd reason-get to talk in her house for hours... haha...Ok..forget bout the reasons. We went to our class teacher-Pn.Loo's house just now to visit her and her husband. Pn.Loo with her usual question, ''Pinyin, you have a boy friend already?" (for ur information, she asked me that everytime i see her..haha..so i m use to it) And i replied her with my usual answer also ''No lar....dun have.."

Pn.Loo: Why? You all should find one during University time...dun find after you graduate...cause when u all start working, you all wont have the time already.

Me: What to do wor..Pn.Loo...I still cant find anyone suitable yet..haha

Pn.Loo: Pinyin, i have a friend whose son is a doctor and he is around 26 years old..he is working at Perak. My friend told me tat her son does not have a gf yet...she asked me to intro her some girls...you want or not?? i intro u to him?? he is a nice guy..very guai wan..

My blogging mood has fling back to the correct mode again..haha..Blogging should be started when we really have the mood to do it or else it will be as if we are only writing our thoughts on air. Today is the 3rd day of CNY,sob sob....not because i do not cherish the cny this year,but i know it will soon be over. *sigh*.After cny, everyone knows that we will be super busy.*yawn*-assignments. For these 2 days of cny, all i have to say is that i love it. Love the fact that i have a lovely family members, love the fact that i can eat all those cny food which i can have it on normal days, love the fact that i can wear new and nice clothes, love the fact that i can talk and laugh as much as i can!!!!! I just cant wait to meet most of my friends this Thursday and Friday. So chaoz!

Rewind to last year cny........... We were at Hainan Island, China at this moment....It was a great memory.....and this year we are in PENANG!!Although both places are totally different in terms of ....errr..basically EVERYTHING!! weather pun tak sama, food pun tak same(sana punya babi lebih sedap compare with the babi in msia), people also tak sama, fireworks ada bezanya jugak etc, we still make it work! Who are we???? We are Mr.Lee Leng Heng'sdescendant...he is my grandfather. =) Here are some pictures taken during these 2 days of CNY.

CNY Eve Reunion Dinner

2010 is something really different....other than the number of the year(2010). my family had tried new things which was to have our reunion dinner at Chilli's. Not the usual steamboat at home. My mom said we should try new things and it will be easier not to wash the dishes after the steamboat. yea... i agree with that...alot of washing is not fun... *wink*. So we happily went into the restaurant but then the atmosphere didnt stay tat long. My bro was having headache and he went to buy a cup of starbucks coffee(that will be his remedy) and he brought it into Chilli's. Here comes the noob manager

Noob Manager: Excuse me Mr.,you are not allowed to bring in outside drinks or food. Can you please bring it out now?

Bro: I know i know, but we have already ordered our food and drinks. Its not tat we didnt order and if we didnt order and i bring in this drink, i know it is not right. BUT we have ordered A LOT of food.

Noob Manager: BUT this is our policy. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.....

Bro: I am having headache and i will feel better after drinking it.....

Noob Manager: Having headache? you should see a doctor....

When i heard the last sentence, that manager almost made me knock out. Mana ada manager speak like not a professional manager? Oh yea..he is not a professional one...can see that so damn clearly when he spoke. I notice even when he spoke, no smile on his face...he just showed his non-friendly face. I thought all the while, a manager should be a customer oriented and the workers should be policy oriented? Somehow it has become the opposite. The waiter who served us last nite had actually apologised on behalf of his manager's behavior... what the heck???!! Even the waiter has better PR than the manager. From what i analysed, the manager was not actually finding a solution bout the bringing in coffee thing but he was just stand firmly on his ground ''it is our policy"...these words tak tau sudah keluar how many thousand times from his mouth....he was making the situation worse instead of better. Should a manager be good at handling situation like this and to make the customers happy? Basically, i think that the manager should really polish up his communication skills. Its cny reunion dinner after all....y he must make is such a fuss...

Me: I know it is ur policy but u r the manager, you should make the policy more flexible. In this situation, we have ordered ur food and drinks and the bill will sum up to around RM450. It is a big sum and you should make the customer happy. Shouldn't we customers are always right?

Noob Manager: yes..... But..... it is our policy...

Me: Can you tell me what other reasons other than the policy that we cant bring in outside food and drinks when we had actually ordered our food?

Noob Manager: I am afraid that the other customers who will see you bringing in the drinks in

Me: You really think the customers will ever notice that?? who will? they will only concentrate on eating the food.....where got customers sengaja go peep on us??

We later asked to see his GM, and he went straight out.....Then he walked in again, i was looking behind him, curious bout the GM out look..wahahaa..wanna see got leng chai or not...Instead of bringing in the GM in person, he brought us a NAME CARD *slapped my head* *pengsan*. Does this mean he wants to challenge us to contact his GM? Thanks to him for that card, we had emailed Chilis's CEO and GM.

I used to dislike reading newspaper regarding our malaysia politics- MCA vs MCA, Minister Vs Minister, Gov vs Opposition, Bus Crash reports made the Ministers start appearing in the front page of the newspaper with the huge headlines saying ''Strict rules for the bus drivers....enforcement of law... bla bla and bla''. The first thing i did when i grabbed the newspaper was to turn into the sports and the entertainment sessions. I will never bother to even take a glance through the nations news. However things started to change recently as i am taking Constitutional Law and this subject ''force'' me to read the news regarding to this very subject. My lecturer kept on reminding us to read, read and read, that is the only way to gain knowledge and when you have the knowledge you can share with the world and from there you will gain your confident. These words stuck me real hard.... I reminisced the time when i was in a scholarship interview by the Lion Group last year before i entered UKM. One of the interviewers asked me questions regarding to the current news in Malaysia which was the Political issues in Perak. Thinking real hard to give him an impressive answer, i was swearing underneath my breath...because i did not have any knowledge bout that!!! yea i know... lady luck was not with me that day. Honestly, i felt so embarrassed after that...i told my mom bout it and she said in a nicer way of ''serve you right''. haha... But now, things are pretty different...its the evolution of myself! I now love to read the news bout the politics in malaysia. I felt i am actually connected to the world and most importantly to my own country. It was fun to exchange views with my friends bout the things which have happened, eg: bout the ministers and the courts' judgement. We criticised and gave our own point of view and knowing that the Government is only human after all.... So, pendek kata, i am proud of myself now..ahhaha... pardon me for being perasan... =)

2009 coming to its end, say hello to 2010. Lets review bout year 2009,as usual there were ups and downs, happy moments and of course the miserable moments. I am bold enough to say that i have grown a lot in this year. All thanks to the difficult times i had to overcome. Without 'them' i will not be as who i am now. Without the tears, i will not be as strong as i am now.I wanted to be so brave to stand up high and shout ''What??!!! Those adversities are nothing!!'' However, there are still some timid sides of me that stop me from saying that lar... lol. There were lots of times when my plans did not go accordingly and got hit by rough stones at times. I am crossing my fingers tightly that i will have a better time and life in year 2010. I want to achieve the goals i have in 2010, i want to change myself into a much more greater person and all i want in year 2010 is, to be a much more happier person than i was in 2009. H.A.P.P.Y... yea... its my name when i slot in the 'A' and another 'P'. Hong Pin Yin - HPY, after the slot in it will be HAPPY. =)
